OUR VISION IS TO LOVE GOD AND OTHERS WITH ALL OUR HEARTS. UNTIL HE RETURNS, WE WILL SPREAD THE HOPE OF JESUS CHRIST AS THE HOLY SPIRIT ENABLES AND ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER TO DEVELOP CHRIST-LIKE CHARACTER.

Pastor Bryan McDowell is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and Lead Pastor at Oak Orchard Assembly of God. He has previously served as children’s and youth pastor at First Assembly of God in Goldsboro, North Carolina; directed youth ministry for the Salvation Army in the inner city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; as Children’s Pastor at Pine Bluff First Assembly of God; and as Lead Pastor at Family Church in Hartford, Wisconsin.

He and his wife Whitney were married in Appleton, Wisconsin in 2014. They are parents to three beautiful children — Elias, Aurora, and Theo. Pastor Bryan was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, raised in the Capital Region of New York State, and later in Southern New England and North Carolina.

When discussing his philosophy of ministry, he insists that the Gospel must be modeled in both words and actions and says we are all called to, “be the hands and feet of Jesus right where He has us.” Pastor Bryan enjoys reading, writing, and traveling. Spending time with family is very important to him as well. He is a big sports fan and enjoys cheering on the Buffalo Bills, Boston Red Sox, and Wisconsin Badgers.
